Hey im 17 and im trying to get money to afford a motorcycle with the insurance, road tax, CBT, Provisional, MOT and all the equipment. I have done all my research and found out the total which is £1330. I just need to find money fast but cant get a loan because im to young. Has anyone got any ideas of how else i can get money before August 2012
I'm a grandma who is trying so heard to fix my home for my grandchildren they have been with me for 7 yrs and I'm on disabilty and can't aford to fix it the rigt way so I have been tryinng to get help I went to rolling plans and I have been on the list for5 yrs andthen I was told thr funding was out no more money to help me. I have tried to get a goverment grant and its so hard to do ...please if any one can help my please let me kno...grandma who wishes only to give her grandchilren a good home. I fix what I can when I have the money.....thank you for hearing me out.....I cry evrry night that god will help me and I know god will.

in response to trejon...well what is lost can be later replaced. do not worry so much about material things. in your situation get back to the basics. going to school is not income. unless you have some kind of grant or veteran wonded warrior program or something like that. so going back to school has to wait or at least part time. you need income. so get hot on it. if you cannot pay baby sitter then become an nanny or babysitter yourself. find jobs you can take him with you like pizza delivery. i know they frown on it but they dont check your cars all the time so dont tell them, make sure you drive safe. pick up and recycle metals and cans. see if what you are studying has a program where you could be paid to learn on the job, or at least temp. just some quick ideas i have used to get easy money.

deliver fast food- a job that give you more than a paycheck you will never go hungry. one year i worked pizza and my wife worked mexican. or bartendering. tips are great!
if you have a skill exploit it . you have knowledge and can pass that on to others. mechanical or parenting, or whatever you like someone outhere may want to learn from you. i sell books online. and a few pay for it. i will help reguardless but out of millions on line i only need less than 1% to buy anything to be satified how about you?
A personal story- once i had lost a great paying job got fired technically due to attendance. so i did not qualify for unemployment had a sick wife, and 3 childeren in our home including a newborn at the time. had 3 other childern outside the home we tried to support. constantly looked for a job but no one job lasted or paid much about or little over minium wage. i was kinda in a pickle, begging, asking, "borrowing" but could not pay back. and definately not giving to others- too poor and too broke. sound familiar. then for about 1/2 a year with no day job all of us lived just off a part time pizza delivery job. i refused to go hungry. with little food stamps and wic and free school lunches and pizza we were fed but still hurting for money for sure. then another jobless year and we be gan to help others when we could. people on the street gave a ride to or some change. and helped out family members with things. we did not have money but we were usefull. we have eyes, hands, legs and well you get the idea. motion, action leads to action. and 'karma" rewards. i continued to persue money in a positve light not a negative one. most days when i got money and used some or all of it for someone else without hope of getting it back, it was strange but then someone else would call me up or a check in the mail or gift card or something that just made that day ok. now i have a regular check comming in the mail or direct deposit and i will continue to use it for people other than myself and i some how comes back to me in spades. i cannot explain it but it is true. there is a great movie and book called "the secret" that explains it better than i could ever. one year i earned less that 14,000 with wife and 7 childern and we had a big thanksgiving, christmas and life improves year after year. we are not renting, we are buying our home using escererated mortguage payoff plan. our home and payments are tax free. and if we can then you can. any questions see my book ' Getting Control - The complete guide to getting yourself out of horrible debt. good luck!!!
from government in grants , like social services, food stamps, medicare, workers comp, workers insurance for layoffs, free lunch programs with the schools, churches give to community groups.
start by visiting your social service office
if you are a veteran there are many housing and medical programs
catholic charities help people with rent when they have problems, but you have to have a job.
There are many non profit organizations for everything. from habitat for humanity for affordable housing to 2ND harvest for food programs
programs like free cycle is a giving program that recycles everything so it does not go to the dump. example a person gets a new washer and doesn't need the old one, but it works fine, in stead of throwing it away she puts it on free cycle and you call her and pick it up FREE.

The average person does not understand how serious it is when FannieMae and FreddieMac go broke (they are government back programs folks)!!! Also, I am in my 50s and last year was the first time in my life the IMF (International Monetary Fund) ever...EVER went broke (bank of last resort for countries). The politicians keep telling us this will resolve anytime; don't you believe it. They are doing everything including juggling unemployment numbers to keep from telling you we are in a full scale Depression like the 30s.

you could try some churchs they may help with bills and maybe try to talk to habet for humanty may be able to help i know what your are going threw i a single mother haveing a heard time keeping a roof over my kids head you can try shop with a cop for christmas or a church may be able to help i wish i could give more advice to you

Is there anyone out there that can help us get the braces my child deperately needs. She has a sever cross bite and overbite. She also has no room in her mouth for the new adult teeth trying to come in. These braces could help her oral, and overall health, drastically. the overall cost is going to be $6780....

i built a name for myself and was respected in my field. today i have a lie tarnishing that hard earn respect into a black balling nightmare. i moved to a small town and because of these lies that can not be proven i can not find a job. now less the money erased off my last check i have fallen behind, i have tried to seek assistance through the government and i can not get food stamps or unemployment. my rent is 450 and car payment is 295. insurance is 140. wit these numbers doubling within the week i am good to have to start choosing between food and bills to keep ahead. i know i can get past these injustice. i just need some assistance floating by til i can get a source of income.
i worked for a fast food company for the last four years. i was a manager and made decent compared to others on staff. i did my job very well. i worked hard rarely late, never called off, worked late and came in on call. i always was a go getter. last year my father died and this last spring my grandfather died. it took a toll on the family financially and even called for a relocation in my mother and my owns case. in this company i have even worked at many different locations for the area managers and the were happy to transfer me to a new location. i was very settled with a great team and as usual did a kick ass job. however, this particular location decided to sell into a franchise . we all knew there would be changes. soon those changes were becoming too much. we understood wen they took away our meal discounts. we understood wen they cut hours to train new employees. we did not understand when the store slowly began to fill up with managers from other stores who turned out to be friends with the new stores gm or when money started to come missing and was asked to place our personal money to cover the indiscretions.then they transfered our gm only to fire her with in the week. then everyone of the original team started being suspended ten fired one by two by one. so far seven of fifteen in total. they literally started lying to get people fired so they wouldnt have to pay unemployment and altered the hours worked. they took away the benefits and everything,. i worked there four many years. i built a name for myself and was respected in my field. today i have a lie tarnishing that hard earn respect into a black balling nightmare. i moved to a small town and because of these lies that can not be proven i can not find a job. now less the money erased off my last check i have fallen behind, i have tried to seek assistance through the government and i can not get food stamps or unemployment. i have gone from supporting a family by working hard to falling behind quickly unable to get a job no matter the effort. my rent is 450 and car payment is 295. insurance is 140. wit these numbers doubling within the week i am good to have to start choosing between food and bills to keep ahead. i know i can get past these injustice. i just need some assistance floating by til i can get a source of income. please any little bit you can do offer advise representation or good old fashion cold hard cash would help me and my family greatly. thank you in advance for the support!!
in response to Keili...Oh yeah, everythings fixed the economy is so good these days. I'm going to laugh when you lose everything because you thought everything was fine and dandy again. For one the united states has no money, we've got lots of debt to china, but what we make we have nothing to back it up with. The federal reserve is a off-shore bank so in a few years our entire economy will collapse. And when it does you can still tell me he's fixed everything.

And they still apply in 2011!!! lol, Im gonna try scrap metal, I have 2 unemployed adult sons, I figure I can drive and they can put stuff in the back of the truck, yeah right lmao, I'm gonna try though :).
if you know how to swim good give swimming lessons i work at a pool and in know some of my other employees charge up to 40 bucks a hour. pretty sweet deal. find copper!!!! me and my friend already made a totaly of 870 big bucks already and we only went looking for 2 days. if you get enough you get paid good
Well you can be an affiliate and offer to get a commission on what you sell for a specific product line. You can put the original sellers html code on your site and provide information about the product and when they click the link and order from being "referred" from your site, then there you go. You have money.
Also setting up a website and having an "online" garage sale of specific items that aren't hard to ship. I find that little things might be easier to resell. Because the postal service will bring you free Priority Mail Boxes to ship your products in! How about the USPS!

1) Dumpster Diving! This is a great way to obtain items that you can either keep or sell online, especially if you live in a college town! When everyone starts to move out, that's when you dumpster dive for furniture, clothing, and I have on occasion found money in the dumpster, considering that foreign exchange students end up moving back home, and transferring currency over can become quite expensive. But, if you don't live in a college town, learn when apartments in your area turn over for move-outs, and keep your eyes on the dumpsters!
2) Selling your Dumpster Diving Treasures! I use craigslist mainly for this. If you found some nice, gently, used clothing, wash it, and take it to a consignment shop and earn some money that way!
3) Sell books (especially college textbooks) on amazon.com! Another great website to sell other items as well, but, textbooks always sell during certain intervals!
